Taiwan

Of course, it was nice to go since it was a birthday present.

My neck hurt just to look up. So famous 101 building but i should say the food was better in Din Ta Fung.

A lovely park with my tour guide. Again, she speaks very little chinese but we survived.

It looks so plain but once you try the fish balls and tauhu... heaven and so very cheap .       /\

Venice

Faye commented a must visit before it vanished. A train ride from Milan. The day was hot but a good place to shop.
A feast for the eyes. We spent the whole day there. Walking and sibuk heree and theree.

Bad face but really big pizza. It was awesome shared but 2.

My tour guide decided to try these yummy chips.

She wasnt keen but I loved the beautiful old door. Priceless n well maintained.

The old narrow streets of Venice which can be verry confusing as we got lost.

The canals were clean and smells fresh.

Read the name. We ran out of time. So we skipped the shop.

I assumed that it was a hotel or at least a villa. Beautiful building with rich history. You will never guess what it was!

The famous plazzo which was filmed in many movies.

The best peach drink I have ever tried. So peachy.

Holiday in Italy

It was beyond my dreams that my baby told me ,Mama .. I am bringing you to Milan n Venice.... Slow down... OMG... i have always wanted to see Europe.. Yes Yes... I shouted.
All my bags were packed. Milan , here i come.
A long flight fed with good food and arrived in Milan. Since it was June, it was hot really dry air and felt giddy.

Duomo at the back ground.

Beautiful view and I am sure everyone seeing it for the first time would agree with me.

The Past of 2014

The greastest fear.... will I will be normal again? In late July 2014, I had a fall in my bathroom. The pain continued for months. I had fears and doctors after doctors... I was advised NOT to do this and that. It struck me that I am still young so much to do. I broke down a couple of times nursing myself and my pride.
It was tough and I questioned myself daily WHY ME? It was painfully that i was told NO more running, jumping and the list goes on. I love running, Zumba and body combat. All went out of the windows. I shall not sit but deal with my back pain. The pain is there till today. I have learned to embrace it. If one day, I wake up with no pain... I thank God .very much.
Lesson learnt... every cloud had its silver lining. I come to reaslise that my health determines my hapiness. I take care of my back, joining yoga, listen to my body and trying to be positive. It is tough but the back pain is improving.

2014 Happiest and challenges to accept.

5 months flew out of my windows thinking of New Zealand. I assumed that I had left a piece of my heart there. Above are friends which i met there.

Work started with new batches of students to brush up and prepare for SPM. It has been ages that i write about them. Every year i have new ones with some names to difficult to remember.

Looking busy in my class while I was teaching a difficult topic. 5 V 3 which i took over after the passing of the late Haza ari.

Late Haza ari and I were teachers in BK. A young and helpful mam . With his passing away, it left all of us a hole in the heart and questions. It was really sad that he died at such a tender age of 36.

As days rolled away, leaving me to appreciate people around. My cousin sister , too died at a young age due to lungs failure. She is younger than me. Then it struck me that life is really short.

Everyone meet Jacob, my grand nephew from my third sister. We are still very excited with me.

The new charmer yeah!

My Favourite Moments in NZ

1. Without doubt: Fox Glacier

This place gave me courage and strength.

2. Driving on a One Lane Bridge. It was extremely scary at the beginning.

3. Ice Cream.. with real fruits all over NZ

4. HooKer Valley... the walk

Three swing bridges to reach.

This picture tells the whole story.

5. Sleeping and living in a Campervan.

Even cooking is possible in tiny space. My simple lunch in Nelson.

My house, my space and my kitchen.

No tables so  make the best of the campervan.

6 Flowers and more flowers to see.

Epilogue: NZ is a surreal and unforgettable experience for me. At the beginning in NZ, it was bittersweet with jetlag and the coldness. I wasn't prepared for them but finally, I felt so sad in leaving . I suddenly discovered that this is the PLACE to be.

My Favourite Small Towns In NZ

Hanmer Springs: Hot Springs to soak in. Beautiful Redwood trees.

Geraldine. The breathtaking in the late afternoons. It gives me a closer views of the mountains and river gorges. A small town but worth every minute.

It is after breakfast . Ice cream from here to hit the road.

Nelson, much bigger then all the above mentioned towns. The beach is awesome with yummy yummy fresh seafood.

9  pm in Lake Wanaka.

Vast orchards. An interesting place to view.
A master piece to show in a small town. What do you think it is?
