Behind a good man, you see an excellent woman. I heard this on the radio just now. It strike me that the excellent woman is not his wife but his mother.
In conjuction with the coming of Mother's Day, I too, have my mom to thank who nurtured me from the right to the wrong but also to say that behind every good student, there are excellent parents.
All parents want the best for their children. So do I want the best from all my students in BK.When I first started in all girls society of BK, i became worried since I will be judged from the head to the toe.
I am happy to say that I have been in the same school for about 6 years. There were ups and downs but my students are caring and fun to be with if we( as teachers) can accept them, nurture and mould them.
Being a teacher for 26 years, I have really taught good and weak students .But my fondest memory are students that are struggling with their Maths but worked hard to achieve better results. So many names to say. They learn from me but I too learnt from them. They warm my heart when I talk about them.
My students have taught me:
a) Patience
b) How to laugh
c) count my blessings
d) how to be a better reacher
e) accepting me.
