Dunedin to Wanaka to Queenstown.

Lets face it, by reading the maps .. everything looks easy till you get there. Right after my makan, I drove again in a rental car to Lake Wanaka. I had high expectation after reading about the lake. Be prepared.

Cantik one cos I am sure that I could not affort this baby in Malaysia.
The mentioned small cabin and car... all ready to rock and roll.

A common lunch cos eating out is so very expensive in NZ. I survived on bread , veggies and tuna.

Tea time. This is a MUST HAVE . Real cream with boysenberries. Stopped at a small café and treated our poor souls . Out of this world. NZD 4 but worth every licking drop and shared.

Puzzling World in Wanaka from outside to jimat- jimat.

The sun is so hot but the mountains are beautiful. Wanaka is 55 km away from Queenstown . I was able to see the Mount Aspiring .Stayed in a BBH with a beautiful view of the lake.

You will declare... so cantik. I agreed but to drive up Crown Range peak was a tough challenge worst than  Genting a few million times.I was the driver yet I felt like throwing up along the winding roads. Crazy .... why? the GPS which I bought from Malaysia failed me. I paid 600 rmplus Nz maps but it went gila. I shd say it had jetlag.

The peak and now down the road to Queenstown.

Lake Wakatipu is no tipu and much bigger than Wanaka. Before reaching, stopped at Arrowtown. A must see if you are a Chinese. The history behind it will have tears rolling and the huts will touch your soul.

Arrowtown has a hidden Chinese history that made me so proud that they survived . This is a small hut or house for the early Chinese during the gold rush in West Coast.

Opps not toilet but store for food during the cold months for the early Chinese settlers.

Queenstown...

The town of jumping. No... not for me but some tried the Ledge Bungy and came out alive, one whole piece and smiling.
I helped to watch and screamed.. I tried theSkyline Gondola( chicken).

See just a bit of ropes and launching off a 47m platform near the top of the Skyline Gondola. I am sure this person has the heart of a lion to jump and survived. I saluate this person.
