BLOG VS BLOCK

KEEPING THE PRESS DOOR LOCKED WAS LIKE BEING A TEENAGER WITH A SECRET DIARY.

So I choose to blog because the more I wrote about my life, feelings and moods then i am able to copy with them and learn to laugh or maybe Made a random reader smile. It is priceless.

Anyway, I am no longer a teenager anymore and if I let myself down that misery road of not sharing then I might be in a bigger mess.

I had a wake up call after my mother passed away in a short period of 5 months which tested all my siblings. Some of us became closer and some drifted away. 

I do not want that in my life so I love travelling to see the vast world and blog about it.

GYM Vs SOULMATE






I have a hypothesis here. This interesting choice was asked:
Gym or keeping your soulmate.

I will conduct this research around my gym asking all my female friends about this current issue.
The objective is if any given day in our relationship we are SO forced to decide, what will it be?

I hope to give feedback from all my female followers .

My stand is....
a) I was 75 kg in 1996 till 1997.
b) I started Aerobic classes then gym. 
c) I lost weight.
d) My firm conclusion: I will never give up on something so positive in my life.....
e) I do not want anyone to sabotage my inner happiness and peace in GYM>

1. The sun is bright, so beach seemed like a good offer.

2. If the clouds are dancing away, stay at home. READ  a good book.

3. Melt someone's heart by doing an act of random kindness. Start with a warm smile to that handsome guy 
.
4. Tell your family that they are important now.

5. Have a good lunch.

6.Plan a holiday with yourself.

7. Eat and then have a good workout in gym.

8. Go window shopping by yourself.

TAKE CHARGE OF LIFE

I found this personal writing recently. As you read , take it with a big pinch of salt from heart to heart. HAHA.
Many women and mothers have one clear priority to get through the day- thick or thin. It is simply not enough.

Holding a ten inch knife is not a help at him. By killing the partner trying to make it look like an accident is not help. Life imprisonment is waiting so forget it.
Next, set your priorities matching your reality plus positive values, is within our reach.

Seek a priority- centered life with others. Ask yourself( honestly): What do you want? Shift out? Try to live on my own?
Crying will never help but to be honest within the soul is upmost important.

Be true to yourself
1.If love dies, then one must move on to seek green paster. Even sheeps do not like a barren. Why should we?
2. Be yourself.
Time to look into the mirror. It is time to stop trying to be who our parents expected or what your partner want you to be. It is time to bring the REAL you. Listen to your inner voice.

This piece of crap is for all my students in Bukit Kuda. Be happy with yourself.

Torture in GYM



These were lunch and dinner for two people. Do not be shock. I love the steamed beans before gym.

That is one sexy pairs of legs that i dreamt of. These legs are my male trainer. He has slimmer legs than me. Jealous!
A medicine ball which is helpful in workout.
3 kg dumb bell and a bench for shoulder workout and even your core.

Ways to spend quiet Sundays





Many people have exciting ways to spend on Sundays.

1. A good cup of coffee in bed is a nice way to start the day.

2. Breakfast done. Next, pamper yourself in bed watching your favourite series. Lepakking in bed is bad but once in while is good for the soul.

3. Reading a good book with nice music is fun too. Also it saves monies.

4. Clean up the house is vital if you live in a small apartment like I do.

5. Learn something new getting more experience from cooking or going for Body Combat class to release stress.

6.Cooking lunch for your family. Try new recipes. I found a new place with good recipes and you tube . Laura Vitale. I found her methods to be easy .

Dummies for frugal living in big city








Sharing dummies way to save money:
1. Cook your meals daily. In this way, you will know what are the ingredients used . Shop locally to get fresh  veggies. Also you will improve on your cooking experience.

2. Invest in a good oven. Grill, roast and bake.It is time saving and cut down on oil in frying . I have recently taught by my sis to prepare curry puffs, sardine rolls and many more to venture. I used ready made pastry which is available from any supermarket.
If you have left overs like pasta sauce then make rolls with them. 

3. Invest in a good fruit juicer, making juice is good for health. Recently, i tried persimmon and orange. The taste is smooth and heart warming. Again, it is trying out to find your taste.
Yesterday, i tried pears and red apples. sweet and refreshing. Try and be brave.
You will get fresh fruits from local markets. I normally look out for reduced price fruits in local markets to make juice.

4. If you have a thick skin, go to local supermarket on Sundays, there are stalls offering free sample to feast. I do try but i feel MALU. Cos if the taste is bad, i cannot say out so I walked away. My gym friend loves to try the drinks that is offered.

Food--- Good vs Evil ones.

This is authentic Kerang Buluh which I ate in Kuantan. It is grilled. So i guess it is healthy to chew but the sauce must be pedas and sedap.Fried sotong which is bad for diet but Yummy.

A nice soupy beehon on cold days and maybe on a day when I feel tired after gym.It calms my soul.

8 weeks of ME

My hair was done on the last day of school. As you can see, I have lost my sense of fashion. Two weeks ago when my daughter came home... She rolled her eyes and said... YOu looked round. OH Mama.. your hair.

Since the harm has been done. I take pride in my new hairdo while waiting for it to grow.

Remarks that I get:

A . Michelle(( my young gym mate). Aunty May ... awesome. 
Probably she will kill her mother if  she decide to join me.

B. U gen: Now I see more of your face compared to prior hair style. Maybe.. he was humble not to say that i have a round face. But I am okay with it.

C.Most people of all walks of life looked, stared and dis believe if i tell them... hello.. its okay just for 8 weeks. Relax LAH.

Add Maths versus Samsung S3 (5V1)

Pn Kang: Why didn't she take her Add Maths paper last weeK? Spm is so important.

Anita: Aiyoh teacher. 8 of my friends refused to take the paper. Especially her lor.

Pn Kang: It is so sad that she refused to take since she is such a good student in my class. What happened
to her? Sad......

Anita: Tak payah . Pn Kang cos she got Samsung S3. 

Pn Kang: Apa hubungkait between SPM and a handphone, Anita? Pn Kang blur here.

Anita( laughing loudly with her friends): Let me start . She has a new handphone and a good BF. Some more he is some graphic designer. No need take Add Maths.

Pn Kang: I see. So if you have a good handphone and a good BF . Not need ADD MATHS???????

Torture DIET

As the picture suggests, it will be a guide line to reach my ideal weight.
As I am managing my new Mantra... Diet is upmost important to follow. Most of us fail since there are so much good food to makan. 

The above Nasi kandar is a no no but i do consume it during my CHEAT DAY with my friends. So it is better  if share. Less calorie to feel guilty.Haha.


Below is MY ways and methods taught by my Garang Trainer:

1. Food journal--- writing down everything that goes into the mouth every meal. Yes... i could imagine only a MAD person would do that. I started last year.
An example:
Breakfast: Cereal with fruits.
Tea: Veggie Salad
Lunch: Rice with salmon
Tea: Coffee 
Dinner: A hot cereal drink with fruits.

2. Training journal--- Since you have a food journal from above, note down the workout done daily to see improvement from daily basic.

Here, I normally write how do I feel after gym.

3. Training--
Cardio...... 5 times a week. 

Cardio that for me in effective is to do interval training. Most machines in gym,do have this good programme. 

Weight---  3 times a week.    

                                    I love this personally to tone my body. I started for about 6 years in CF. I do a lot on my back and arms. Pss... i have an issue with my back.Do not afraid.. ladies.. We do not get muscles in my Male friends.

4. Dancing classes-- doing cardio a lone is BORING. So everytime there is a class, I will try from Belly to Zumba. I know that i am stiff but I love a good cardio workout.


5. TRX  is a good workout but to me, i found it tough . It is really good to get a core.

Torture in losing weight



As I am trying my best to achieve my ideal, a friend is helping me to train up. I started many months ago. Since I have been sick for more than one month, today we started to train again.
Diet is to eat like a meow meow according to my trainer. Cheat day is only allowed once a week.
The picture is my salad with cherry balsamic sauce. Moo MOO....

His method is hard and lots of yelling. I normally do cardio or go for my fave class. Since today is a beautiful Saturday, I had to attend Alex's Zumba class. I was over the moon to be in his class dancing away. Right after Zumba still sweating, I was asked to train my core. Core is important for the whole body to train up the strength.( pss... that is what crab I was told).

Slowly.. the plank is lined with a yoga mat. Do.... do... show me. Me still blur from Zumba was forced to train my core. In my mind, a cool iced Tea was nice.... Dream on...

He showed me the different ways to train with a medicine ball of 1kg. To most people... aiyoh ONLY 1 kg. Tak mati pun.

If you do say that try... laying on the mat with your both legs raised no more than 6inches off the floor. He said getting furious... Come on on.... How did you manage to get to recent Fast Fit Competition in gym Last Wednesday.

Last Wednesday, I was in the competition with a close friend. We both( Ladies of above 40) managed to survive. 

Back to the training, I did a few times. He was not happy. To end the class, I was required to hold the ball with my feet and raise. Of course, I pleaded for MERCY.... he had the evil look. Okay, he agreed that I would only COUNT TO 3 to end the class. 

COol.. I agreed like a student trying to ran away from a terrible teacher. I did as told holding the ball.  He counted 1......(silent) but iT felt like forever. Then 2 came.... still trying to TAHAN.... Then the 3 never came.  I screamed.... hello.. didn't you learn after2 is 3. He was not happy. Lets start again. In my mind, if i have a 10 kg dumb bell... i wanted to whack his brains out on the carpet floor.
I just do as told like any good student. Again the counting went 1.......2.....2 half......the 3 were never uttered.
OMG... i asked him ... do you know how to count?
He cheekily said that in primary school, the teacher taught 1, 2 then the teacher died in class not teaching 3. Some people.....

5 WEEKS OF HOLIDAYS

After been sick for more than a month, I am only left with 5 important weeks to go. I want to treasure these 35 days of total silence and 100% peace of NO WORK< NO NOISY > NO YELLING> NO GIVING OF HOMEWORK > NO MARKING OF BOOKS>>> FAR FAR AWAY at home.

You heard me clear....
Once you are on the right track then you will enjoy my blog of sharing why is it important to have long long holidays.

The humble life of a teacher, mother, wife and a 200% gym freak.   ( Thank God that I am NOT a control freak unless you are by maddness end up as my STUDENT)

1. Alarm clock rings..... 5.45am... urgh.... in my mind... human should never created this piece of machine. My niece has 4 of these to shake her up.
2. Prepare breakfast then cook lunch. 
3. Next mandi time.Do up myself.
4. Quickly chew down the food. Most of the time, i love anything not made by me.
5. JOM SEKOLAh.By the way, school starts at 7.20am. We cannot cheat cos all teachers have to punch in.

6. My Mantra after 28 years, beat the bell. Be in school early( Better earlier than your boss).Impression is PENTING here.
7. Class starts... talk, blah , yell, tell a good joke, laugh here 
and there and mark books.

8. We do NOT HAVE coffee break or even LUnch break . The only break is free period for that day. On good days, you get an less 1 hour. 
My tired students but not my minion in class. See they get a good share of breaks.



9.bye bye teacher.... You hope to chilli a bit before going home. Wrong..... Meeting starts at 1 pm and most of the time, it will end 3 or4pm.
We do not have lunch break. I know a lot of people are jealous by saying so best.

IN May 2012, I had to bring my students for a trip during the holidays. See .. as a teacher life is not a bed of roses. My conclusion.... Yes me the poor teacher need a break cause there days that we go home at 5 pm without breaks and we still continue to smile.
